One: Sign the contract.
Juliette Romero had a debt to pay, a debt that wasn’t even hers. But it was the only way to keep her family safe and all she had to do was sell her body and soul to the devil.
Killian McClary wasn’t called the Scarlet Wolf for nothing. He’d been the head of the McClary Organization since he was fifteen and had built a reputation for being a ruthless son of a bitch when it came to running the city’s underbelly, not to mention merciless when it came to punish-ing those who betray him. He didn’t believe in weaknesses. Only results. Juliette, with her shy smiles and hot little body was a weakness unlike any other and yet he was powerless to resist one more taste of her sweet flesh.
Two: Become his for a year.
When given the choice between her life or her body, what could Juliette possibly do, but submit to a man whose very name invoked fear in the hearts others? She just never anticipated falling for his dark, hungry eyes and clever hands, or the way the beast in him made her feel oddly safe and cherished.
But what will happen when Killian’s dark past finally catches up to him and threatens the woman he can no longer imagine himself without? What will happen when both sides find themselves caught in a web of passion, lies and broken promises? Can Juliette tame the wolf or will her love for him devour them both?

Three: Don’t fall in love.
Boundaries will be crossed, loyalties will be tested and lives will be changed forever.

:: Review :: Translucent (Luminous #1) by Erin Noelle

The first thing that got my attention about this book was its cover. It's beautiful!
Then I read the synopsis and decided this was a keeper. I had to read it, so I did.

Heads up: book 2 is coming out soon. If you don't like to wait between books just wait a few more days for Transparent to be out (expected publication: October 2015) before you start to read Translucent.

You won't find a fairy tale here. Mafia and murder and torture have their own scenes in this book. So, if violence and dark is not your thing then maybe you won't enjoy this.

I don't enjoy the violence and the dark read but I did enjoy reading this book.

(No spoiler here; it's the synopsis in my own words) There's Bryleigh that later becomes Blake Martin; a girl married to young to the perfect boy...until she found out he was a murderer and mafia guy. She was so deep she didn't have much chances to get out of there alive until she took an AK-47, became a murderer herself and changed city and name in order to start over.

In between all the wrongs there's romance.

This book was not was I was expecting when I first started it. It was so much more.
The story walks right by the line of "it seems like it's a lot to handle but I can read a little bit more". It felt weird to enjoy a story like this, but I did, a lot.

I think Madden Decker saved this book for me. Blake was this troubled woman with a really bad past and Madden is this alpha, caring, CEO of a firm ( that I still don't understand what's their business, not that it really matters) that has way more patience than a normal person.

Blake has big trust issues. Can't expect anything different looking at her past. But Madden has a way of making her want to trust him.

I loved the couple. It's like a ying-yang. Blake is the black part of the icon and Madden is the white part. They complement each other perfectly. He thins the story when it's so dense. That's what I love about him.

Kind of spoiler alert: the past catches up. That's why I really NEED Transparent to be out NOW!

From the New York Times bestselling author of Stepbrother Dearest, comes a new forbidden STANDALONE romance.

What happens when the one you want is the only one you can’t have?

My name is Sevin.

Homeschooled and sheltered by my ultra-religious family, I was always taught that lust was a sin.

Elle was the girl who’d been carefully chosen for me.

After a long-distance courtship, I’d be moving into her family’s guesthouse so that we could get to know each other in the months before the wedding.

Boundaries were set: no inappropriate touching, no kissing, no sex before marriage.

I’d accepted those rules and my fate.

Until I met the one I wanted to sin with.

That was when restraint became a problem…especially since the one wasn’t Elle.

It was her sister, Evangeline.

You know what they say about best laid plans.

My name is Sevin, and I have sinned.

Told in alternating points of view, Sins of Sevin is a full-length standalone novel. Contains graphic sexual content and harsh language. Only appropriate for adult readers age 18+.

Read Chapter One of Cocky Bastard HERE

Blurb

He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska.

A sexy, cocky, Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive.

When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually-tense nights in hotels and taking unplanned detours.

My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.

I wanted him, but Chance wouldn’t make a move. I thought he wanted me too, but something was holding him back.

I wasn’t supposed to fall for the cocky bastard, especially when I knew we’d be going our separate ways.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

Excerpt

A knock at the door made me jump.
With a huff, I got out of bed and stood on my tiptoes to look out the peephole.  Why were those things always so high on the door anyway?  I was surprised to find no one standing on the other side.  Maybe I’d imagined it.
Another knock.
I flicked on the lights. The sound wasn’t coming from the entrance door.  It was coming from an interior door I hadn’t even noticed before.
Chance’s door.
I unfastened the top lock and cracked it open just enough so I could see what he wanted.  And there he stood.
Shirtless.
Wearing only dark gray boxer briefs that hugged him like a second skin.
It took a minute to understand what he was doing there, even though he was holding up a toothbrush in question.
“I thought we had established I wasn’t a serial killer already.”
I opened the door wider.
He smiled.
Oh lord.  Stop that.  Right now.
“I must have left my toothpaste in my saddlebag in the car.”
I swallowed hard.  “Uh huh.”
He cocked his head to the side, and his brows dipped in.  “Can I borrow yours?”
“Oh.  Yeah, sure.”
He walked past me and let himself into my bathroom.  I waited at the door.
“You got an awful lot of girly crap in here for one night,” he said with a jumbled mouth full of toothpaste from the bathroom.  “Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia.”
He was reading my Estee Lauder perfume bottle.
I heard him rinse and spit.  Then there was a gargling sound.  He used my mouthwash, too.
Sure, help yourself.
He walked out and flicked off the bathroom light.  “Is tuberose a rose?”
I shook my head, still confused by the whole situation going on.
“That’s why,” he murmured.
“Why what?”
“I couldn’t figure out what you smelled like all day.  Not sure I ever smelled a Tuberose before.”  He shrugged and walked back into his room but not before turning back.  “Even those little black lacy underwear smell like tuberose.”
My eyes bulged.  I’d taken off my bra and panties and left them on the bathroom counter.
“You…you—”
“Relax.  I’m teasing.  Do I look like an underwear sniffer to you?”
Yes.
No.
Maybe?
“Night, Aubrey.” He graced me with a dimple and disappeared.
AH-BREE.  Damn him.
I locked the door and checked it twice, unclear if it was for my safety or his.
His voice saying my name was on audio replay inside my head, getting softer and softer like a soothing lullaby with each breath as I drifted off to dreamland.
Until the knock came again.

“I’m in love with her, but it might not be enough to stop her from becoming the latest victim of the Debt Inheritance. I know who I am now. I know what I must do. We will be together—I just hope it’s on Earth rather than in heaven.”

It all comes down to this.

Love versus life.

Debts versus death.

Who will win?

NILA WEAVER

“NO!”

I pushed back, gripping the handrails of the private jet, throwing my weight against Daniel’s incessant pushing. “Stop!”

“Get up the fucking stairs, Weaver.” Daniel jabbed his elbow into my spine.

I stumbled, bashing my knee against the high tread. “You can’t do this!”

Daniel cackled. “I think you’ll find we can.” He shoved me higher.

My heart hurt—as if every mile between us and Hawksridge was a blade slicing me further from Jethro’s protection.

Time once again stole my life.

One moment, I’d been love-bruised and adored, tiptoeing back into the Hall; the next I was trapped, forced to dress in jeans and a hoody, and obey Daniel as he lurked in my doorway, barking orders to pack a few meagre belongings.

My pussy ached from having Jethro inside me. The dampness of his release still decorated my inner thighs. My mind raced, doing my best to see a loophole, figure out a way to stay.

I hadn’t had time to shoot him with the gun Jasmine gave me. I couldn’t scream and shout and hope to God Jasmine heard me so at least she could warn Jethro.

I couldn’t even text Kite with Daniel lurking over my every move.

The only hope I’d had was packing the altered clothing where I’d sewn knitting needles and scalpels into the hem and cuffs, hiding weapons in case I was taken by surprise.

I wanted to cry for my forward thinking.

The few hopeless weapons would be my only ally.

Two days.

I would’ve been free in two days.

Now…I was a true Debt Inheritance Victim, walking her final steps… to the guillotine.

:: Blog tour :: Tyrant by T.M. Frazier

King and Pup are back in this exciting conclusion to the King Series by T.M. Frazier releasing August 17th!

NOW AVAILABLE

Blurb

I. Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn’t.

When the fog
is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I’m more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King’s bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.
I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don’t know if I’m strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He’s already saved me in more ways than one. Now it’s my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else…

Excerpt

He cupped my ass and lifted me up, wrapping my legs around his waist. “There was one point I’d made the decision to tell you the truth. I owed you that much. But then all the shit went down with Isaac and Preppy, so when I made the deal with your father for Max, I thought I was doing you a favor by giving you your life back and getting you out of all the shit that came with being in mine.”

I squeezed my thighs around his waist, rubbing myself against his hardness. I moaned. “But you weren’t giving me my life back.” I corrected. I placed my palms on his cheeks and held his face in my hands, searching for any sign in his eyes that what I felt for him might have been wrong, but instead what I found was a resounding need to fix what was broken between us. Tears formed in my eyes. “You were taking it away.” King’s lips parted. He ran his thumb across my lower lip, turning his head he kissed his way up my arm.

“Goosebumps,” King observed, running his fingertips across my already stimulated skin. I bit my lip and stifled a moan.

“It’s just the heat," I lied.

"You've got that fucking right," King growled, bending my wrist behind my back, his lips came crashing down over mine. We were a tangling of lips, clanking of teeth, sloshing through the water to better line ourselves up with each other. It wasn't pretty.

It was need.

"I’m still fucking mad at you for letting me go,” I said into his mouth, while our tongues did things other parts of me throbbed to do.

King stilled and held my face away from his, our chests heaving in unison, my erect nipples rubbing against his hot hard skin as we panted together. Our breaths mingled in the air. He ran his hand down the side of my face and cupped my cheek in his palm. "I didn't give you away, Pup. I released you."

I stilled. "You released me?" I couldn't hide the hurt in my voice. For some reason, releasing me sounded worse than letting me go.

King ran his tongue across the tip of my earlobe, holding me tightly against his warmth. Chills ran down my spine and into my very core and they had nothing to do with the temperature of the rain.

"I tried to release you, Pup. For Max. But there was a major problem with that plan, and no matter what happened, it would never have worked," King confessed.

"Why is that?" I asked, needing to know, but at the same time acutely aware of the pulsing between my legs. Relief and release was only a scrap or two of fabric away. Throbbing for me.

"The problem was…you never released me," King growled, crashing his lips to mine. He moaned into my mouth when I rubbed myself up against his straining erection. He pushed the fabric of my shorts aside and the second he parted my folds with his index finger, I shuddered. He plunged a long index finger inside of me, and for a second my eyes rolled back in my head until he withdrew it. I cried out in frustration, wiggling myself against him, needing him to make me feel anything other than empty.

:: Review :: Forever with Him (Davison & Allegra #3) by Sofia Tate

*** You can skip this part since it's not a review per se**

I was supposed to read this book like a month ago. I got an arc through netgalley weeks before it hit the stores. But those days were very busy at work so "I didn't" feel like reading at night. Then there was this trip I had planned since January; I had to make some late minute arrangements and got home tired so I didn't read. Then I went out of the country and I was so tired from all the walking and lack of oxygen that every night I got to the hotels and didn't read a page even when I had my e-reader with me all the time.
Then I came back home with a very bad cold and with all the meds I was taking, reading was not even considered.

Honestly, all that were excuses I created and believed. Truth is I didn't want to read this book. I wanted to know how the story ends but didn't want the story to end.

I even did a re-read of book 1 and 2 this weekend when I finally felt better to give some time.

*** Here comes the review ***

I fell in love with Davison on chapter 1 of Breathless for him (book 1) last year. I re-read it and those feelings haven't changed a bit.

I love this two. I love Davison more, obviously, but I love Allegra too. They make a very nice couple: gazillionaire, gentleman and good man with an humble, down-to-earth, opera singer with a hard past. They complement each other perfectly. She makes him happy, he makes her more confident with each passing day and makes her happy too.

I cried with this book. Maybe because I read the 3 books in a row I was more sensitive than normal. Or maybe, and I go with this option, this book touched me deeper than the previous books. Mona's (Davison's mom) letter to Allegra was the first thing to make me cry. Then the whole thing with the Met and the voice, and the perfect future not happening anymore (sorry, can't say much without spoilers). This part broke my heart. It was so sad. Sooooo sad. And because of this part of the book, I fell in love more with Davison. Didn't think that was possible but yes, it happened.

This book is a roller coaster of emotions. Book 1 and 2 built the road to a happily ever after but then comes book 3 and everything is perfect until it isn't anymore. Allegra's reaction to the new reality broke my heart. I just wanted to pull Davison out of the book and give him a hug when he was so lost as Allegra. She needed that hug even more but I prefer to give my love to the man (sorry...not sorry).

I loved how the story ended. All the ups and downs and unexpected turns led to that and I loved it. It was a great ending for the story.

This was a quick read but I made it last as long as I could. It's hard and sad to say goodbye.

And then there's the epilogue. My ovaries just melted there! Loved the tiny characters. Thanks Sofia for my scene. I loved it!!!

** Thanks to netgalley, the publisher and Sofia Tate for the arc **
